The Border Vision Gateway Conference will take place on Thursday 1st November 2007 at the Ballymascanlon House Hotel, Dundalk.
Following the success of last years’ conference Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Border Vision team of Louth County Enterprise Board and Newry & Mourne Enterprise Agency have again organised an impressive line up of speakers for this years annual conference examining the growth potential of the East Border Region. This year’s conference is entitled Border Vision Gateway Conference 2007 - ‘Gateway Status… What’s it worth?’
Government Ministers from the Northern Ireland Assembly and Dáil Éireann will outline the economic growth potential of the East Border Region. The conference will expand on the key issues identified at last years’ event and the collaborative actions required to maximise the region’s social and investment potential as a major Gateway.
Focus will also include:
Infrastructure Funding Gaps, Sustainable Energy to fuel the East Border Region’s Growth, Pulling Dundalk/Newry PLC together, Retail, Logistics & Financial Services, Cross Border Economic impact of Peace, Exploiting the regions Housing Potential, Marketing the Region’s Key offerings and USP, and much more.
This is a progressive event focusing on the key to developing the region successfully. Participants will include architects, builders, developers, investors and representatives from the financial, retail, and tourism sectors, along with funding bodies, public sector representatives, business organisations, educational institutions, cross border organizations and energy bodies.
