Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in association with The Argus invite you to take part in our ‘Buy Up The Town’ Competition. This is our second time to run this and it has been a huge success.
Unlike previous years, which saw a one off €10,000 Shopping spree, this campaign will offer one reader the chance to win €500 spending money every week and the money can only be spent in participating shops such as yours.
‘Buy Up The Town’ has a dual purpose, it will create publicity and profile for the participating shops with the weekly winner spending the money each week, while also generating positive business stories about Dundalk’s retailers in this challenging business environment.
The Argus, sister papers, the Drogheda Independent and Fingal Independent have been running this promotion very successfully for a number of weeks and we now offer you the opportunity to join us and The Argus in producing a similar result in Dundalk.
To win the €500, readers must complete a word maze by finding the names of 10 participating businesses. All participating businesses in the promotion will be featured on the page along with their company logo.
The word maze will be carried on the right hand page of a double page spread, with the left hand page featuring positive business news about Dundalk’s retailers, traders and business community which will be written by The Argus’ editorial staff.
The promotion will run for an initial 10 weeks, with a membership fee of €240 per retailer, after which existing members can renew if they wish and new members can join up.
To take part in a unique competition that is fun, inter-active and certain to get people talking, you are asked to send a cheque for €240 made payable to “Dundalk Chamber of Commerce” by Friday the 29th January 2010. For further information call Kerry on Tel: 042 9336343 or email staff@dundalk.ie
