Dundalk Chamber is launching their Louth Business Awards which we hope will be of great interest to businesses. The Chamber has teamed up with their sponsors and The Argus to bring you these high profile awards.

The aim of the Awards Scheme is to recognise the achievements of companies and individuals in promoting excellent services and products in a top class manner. They also encourage companies large and small to continually improve their business. Even in these tough times many businesses are beating the trend and deserve to be recognized.

Companies can nominate themselves or another company in 11 categories. These include

        Best New Business Start Up.

        Customer Excellence Award in Retail

        Best Eating Establishment

        Best Customer Service Award in Hair, Health & Beauty

        Special Community Group Award.

        Best Customer Service Award

        Business Growth Award

        Best Business Practice Award

        Best Training Initiative.

        Environment Excellence Award

        Dundalk’s  Best High Growth SME

Just tick the category you want to enter, (you may enter up to 4 categories). More information can be found in the enclosed brochure on each category. Closing date for entries is Wednesday the 14^th August.

The Awards will be presented to the winners at the Chamber Gala Dinner in the

Fairways Hotel Dundalk on Saturday 16^th October 2010.   There will be 4 finalists in each category on the night, the winner decided by the sponsor. The short listed businesses will be announced on Monday the 6^th September. This Black Tie event is now one of the highlights in the social calendar in Dundalk with just under 400 attending each year.
